I am a self taught artist, born in Germany, living in Portugal, specialised in creating colourful acrylic and mixed media paintings. Recently I also started to experiment with digital art.

Several of my paintings are inspired by the beauty of skeleton leaves and other small items I find in our garden where I spend a lot of time with our two rescue dogs.

Other works are inspired by personal experiences and world events which have a strong impact on me and result in bold abstracts reflecting my emotions caused by these events.

I started painting more than 30 years ago whilst living in Madeira. Since then my works have evolved from very detailed and well planned oil paintings to far more abstract and spontaneous works. I discovered a love for structures and mixed media paintings whilst living in England for several years.
